🌴 Miami, Florida - November 2024
Vice city. Truly mirrored the landscape of the GTA game us 90s kids grew up playing. This was during the trip to attend EMNLP 2024. I definitely love Miami vibes and weather. Being by the water also reminds me of my beloved coastal hometown, Beirut. Didn't bump into the ⚽ goat Messi on the streets; got his Inter Miami shirt though.
WWE Bad Blood, Atlanta, GA - Oct 2024
I grew up in Lebanon watching WWE with my brothers and cousins. This was my first time attending a WWE event when they held the Bad Blood 2024 PPV in Atlanta. It was a surreal experience to witness wrestling entertainment live and see famous superstars like CM Punk and Triple H. This event was also special since it had a Hell in a Cell match which they usually do only once a year. Also got to see Cody Rhodes jump from the ring post and break the announce table.
Bangkok, Thailand - August 2024
First time in Southeast Asia when attending ACL 2024 in Bangkok. A place I knew little about, besides for its Muay Thai. The architecture of the landmarks is strinkingly beautiful to see for a first timer.
